Day 174, Franciscan Silver Pine

{174/365} Franciscan Silver Pine

This is my mom’s wedding china, which she gave to me several years ago. I don’t use it as often as I should, which is a shame, because it’s too beautiful to just be sitting in a cupboard.

I’d at least use the teacups more often, but it takes me too long to drink a cup of coffee for this cup to be practical. The shape allows for fast cooling — a deal breaker for a slow coffee drinker.

A couple of years ago, Heather Armstrong posted a photo of similar teacups in her Style section. If she likes those, she might flip for the Silver Pine.
